Schedule and Competition
When will the event schedule be posted?
We will announce a tentative schedule in JUNE, 2026: so families can avoid booking extra nights and can purchase plane tickets well in advance. The final schedule will be available approximately six weeks before the event, but the previously announced competition days will remain the same.

Hotel and Waterpark
Why is there a two-night minimum stay at the Kalahari Resort?
This is a standard policy of the Kalahari. However, participants receive a 61% discount!
You will pay only $229.00/ night - FREE parking- WATER PARK PASSES INCLUDED. (basic room, 4 guests; local taxes and fees apply)
The discounted gymnastics room block is full. Can more rooms be added at the discounted rate?
Unfortunately, no. Due to resort policy, we are given a limited number of discounted rooms, and once the block is full, additional rooms cannot be added at the discounted rate. Please note that this is a NEW EVENT and the room block might fill within days of opening. The event organizers do not control hotel accommodation policies.
Does meet registration include a waterpark pass?
Due to resort popularity and capacity restrictions, this is not possible at this time. However, ALL those staying as guests of the resort receive waterpark passes as part of their reservation!
Do gymnasts receive discounted waterpark passes?
Due to resort’s popularity and capacity restrictions, the only way to access the water park is being a hotel guest.
Athlete Experience
Do gymnasts receive a Waterpark Gymnastics Cup t-shirt for participation?
Yes! All registered gymnasts receive an official Waterpark Gymnastics Cup t-shirt. Coaches will receive the shirts for distribution to their athletes
How are awards presented at the Waterpark Gymnastics Cup?
All gymnasts receive the All-Around medal, and the top 50% in each individual event receive event medals. Also, the top 5 teams will receive a Trophy to display in your gym!
Travel and Weather
What happens if there is a snowstorm?
Heavy snowstorms are not very common in this area. However, the meet should not be
cancelled. You are stepping into a perfect world where everything is connected: the
hotel, waterpark, competition and restaurants.
If your team arrives late due to weather or travel delays, we will accommodate the
athletes in the remaining competition sessions.
