WELCOME TO THE PALM SPRINGS GYMNASTICS CUP
The Palm Springs Gymnastics Cup is next weekend! We are very excited and are planning on a very competitive event for your gymnasts!
Coaches Registration
As a reminder only those coaches who are pre-registered for the meet are allowed access to the competition floor. Should any coach not be on the pre-registered list they must be prepared to show their USAG Membership card so it can be scanned prior to registration. Please check your Team’s USAG Meet Reservation to be sure all coaches are entered. If you need to add any coaches please email the names to me.
Protocols – City of Palm Springs
The protocols are based on the current guidelines from the State of California, the city of Palm Springs and USAG.
Competition Hall, Awards Area and Lobbies: Participants, Coaches, Officials and Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times while indoors in the City of Palm Springs.
All Gymnasts must provide proof of Vaccination Status or a Negative Covid 19 test* to be able to compete without a mask. (This will allow the gymnast to remove their mask to perform while warming up and competing.) Gymnasts will provide the proof at Gymnast Registration. They will receive a wristband to be worn during the competition. We ask that each gymnast carries the proof documents with them in their backpack on the competition floor in case a representative from the Palm Springs Convention Center or City of Palm Springs asks the gymnast to provide the proof of vaccination or test. Any gymnast who does not have proof of vaccine or a negative Covid 19 test can compete wearing a MASK.
In Home Covid 19 test: Acceptable proof is the printed lab report or digital record from the at home App based tests. A picture of that digital record is acceptable. Digital record MUST have name, date taken and negative result.
Concessions for spectators and Hospitality Area for Coaches and Judges
- No MASK is required while seated at the outdoor tables.
- The Concessions and the Hospitality Room will be located in an area off of the lobby of the Convention Center.
- The food will be available inside with outdoor seating.
- Masks will be required while purchasing food at the concession or serving yourself food inside the Hospitality room.

Tickets are available for purchase 30 minutes before the first session begins each day.
Welcome Party We are saddened that we will not be able to host the Welcome Party this year due to the current Covid regulations in Palm Springs. We plan on hosting the party next year and we hope that we will see you then!
